CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Houghton teammates Kaylin Bull and Keeler Topping are the AMC Women’s Soccer Players of the Week for matches played on Oct. 5-11.
Bull, a 5-foot-4 junior forward from Weare, N.H., is the Offensive Player of the Week. She netted a pair of goals during a trio of 1-0 victories for the Highlanders.
Bull’s first tally came during a 1-0 home result against NAIA #22 Carroll (Mont.). She also had the lone score in a 1-0 AMC win at Cedarville.
Topping, a 5-foot-3 sophomore defender from Pittsford, N.Y., is the Defensive Player of the Week.
The Highlander defense yielded five shots on goal in each of their three outings which included a 1-0 decision in two overtimes at Mount Vernon Nazarene. They have given up just one goal this season in 12 matches.
Houghton enters the week 9-1-2 overall and 6-1 AMC.
