CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Regular season soccer champions Houghton in the women’s division and Roberts Wesleyan in the men’s are the top seeds in their respective AMC Tournaments. Both events will be played on Nov. 7, 13-14.
The six-team AMC Women’s Soccer Tournament kicks off with two first-round matches on Nov. 7. They include #6 Walsh at #3 Notre Dame while #4 Shawnee State entertains #5 Roberts Wesleyan.
Houghton will host the AMC Final Four on Nov. 13-14. Teams will be re-seeded after the first round with the #1 Highlanders taking on the lowest remaining seed. The other opening round winner meets #2 Mount Vernon Nazarene in the semifinals.
The AMC Men’s Soccer Tournament is a five-team field. The lone first round match has #5 Walsh at #4 Mount Vernon Nazarene on Nov. 7.
The AMC Final Four will be at Roberts Wesleyan on Nov. 13-14 with the top-seeded Raiders taking on the Walsh/MVNU winner. The other semifinal has #3 Houghton battling #2 Notre Dame.
Both championship games will be played on Nov. 14 with the winners earning automatic bids to the NAIA National Championships.
