CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Walsh forward Ricky Jackson repeated as the AMC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played on Nov. 30 through Dec. 6.
Jackson, a 6-foot-7 senior from Chicago, Ill., produced back-to-back double-double performances in two victories for the unbeaten and NAIA Division II #3 Cavaliers.
Jackson tallied 32 points and 10 rebounds in an 88-76 decision over #10 Cedarville in the American Mideast Conference opener for both teams. He followed up with 32 points, 11 boards, and 4 steals in just 22 minutes during a 154-59 rout of Ohio State-Mansfield.
For the week, Jackson shot 67 percent from the field overall, 50 percent from three-point territory, and 67 percent at the stripe. He added four steals, three assists, and three blocked shots.
Walsh is 8-0 overall and 1-0 AMC.
