CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Walsh University repeated as the AMC Women’s All-Sports Award champion while Cedarville University claimed the men’s award for 2010-11.
The outcome marked the third straight year for the Cavaliers to take home the women’s title. The Yellow Jacket men were victorious for the second time in the past three seasons.
In the women’s division, Walsh finished with 55 points. Cedarville was the runner-up with 49 points and Malone was third at 43.5.
Walsh copped AMC championships in basketball, golf, and tennis. Malone was the only other school with multiple titles by earning trophies in cross country and track & field.
Cedarville won an extremely tight men’s race with 38 points. Malone tallied 37.5 points and Walsh was third with 35.
The Yellow Jackets’ only AMC title was achieved in track & field. They were the runner-up in both cross country and basketball.
Malone repeated as champions in cross country and golf. Walsh was a double winner with titles in basketball and tennis.
