Brandy Humphrey, Shawnee State University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Shawnee State University forward Brandy Humphrey (Latham,
OH; West Latham H.S.) is the final AMC women's basketball Player of the Week
for the 2000-01 campaign. She led the Bears, ranked No. 1 in NAIA Division II,
to the AMC title game by averaging 21 points and 9 rebounds in two
victories.
Humphrey recorded a double-double consisting of 11 points and 10 rebounds in a 72-64 overtime victory against Urbana. She came back with a career-high 31 points and eight boards in an 84-58 semifinal win over Rio Grande.
Humphrey shot 54 percent from the field for the week and hit 11-of-15 free throws for 73 percent. She supplied five assists, four assists, and one steal.

Sheba Harris, Central State University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Central State University forward Sheba Harris (Cleveland,
OH; John F. Kennedy H.S.) is the AMC women's basketball Player of the Week. She
was also named the NAIA Division I National Player of the Week after posting
back-to-back double-doubles to average 27 points and 11 rebounds per game to
lead CSU to a 2-0 week. The Lady Marauders extended their winning streak to 16
in a row.
Harris, a 5-foot-10 junior, scored 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in an 83-79 win over Cedarville. She added 26 points with 10 boards in a 72-57 victory at Ohio Dominican.
For the week, Harris shot 44 percent from the field and 82 percent at the line. She supplied a pair of three-pointers, four assists, five steals, and a blocked shot.

Kristen Beach, Malone College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Malone College forward Kristen Beach (Pipersville, PA; Pine
Tree TX H.S.) is the AMC women's basketball Player of the Week. The 5-foot-8
forward accounted for more than 30 points per game while leading the Pioneers
to a 3-0 week.
Beach averaged 19.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 3 steals in three starts. She opened with 14 points and six steals in a 77-51 victory over Walsh; tallied 25 points with seven assists in a 94-71 win at Mount Vernon Nazarene, and wrapped things up with 20 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in a 72-70 victory at Ohio Dominican.
For the week, Beach shot 62.5 percent from the field overall, 66.7 percent outside the three-point arc, and 78.9 percent at the charity stripe. She added 17 assists, nine steals, and a blocked shot.

Kameico Robison, Seton Hill College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Seton Hill College center Kameico Robison (Clairton, PA;
Clairton H.S.) is the AMC women's basketball Player of the Week. The 5-foot-10
sophomore averaged 36 points and 18 rebounds as the Spirit split two AMC
games.
Robison registered 33 points and 21 rebounds in a 71-57 win over Geneva. She also netted the 1,000th point of her career which has spanned less than two full seasons. Robison finished her week with 39 points and 15 boards in a 94-86 setback at Rio Grande.
For the week, Robison shot 57.5 percent from the field overall, hit one three-pointer out of two attempts, and made 25-of-30 free throws for 83 percent. She added five blocked shots, four steals, and one assist.

Sheba Harris, Central State University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Central State University forward Sheba Harris (Cleveland,
OH; John F. Kennedy H.S.) has been named the AMC women's basketball Player of
the Week. The 5-foot-10 senior paced the Lady Marauders to a 3-0 week by
averaging 21 points and seven rebounds per game.
Harris netted 16 points in a 75-64 win at Cedarville; assembled a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds in an 85-73 victory at NAIA Division II No. 12 Malone; and racked up 25 points in an 80-54 decision over Kentucky State.
For the week, Harris shot 59.5 percent from the field overall, 44.4 percent outside the three-point line, and 81.8 percent at the line. She totalled 21 rebounds, five assists, five steals, and two blocked shots.

Stacey Jastrzembski, Seton Hill College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Seton Hill College guard Stacey Jastrzembski (Vandergrift,
PA; Kiski H.S.) is the AMC women's basketball Player of the Week. The 5-foot-10
junior averaged 22 points per game while leading the Spirit to a 3-0
week.
Jastrzembski opened with 17 points in a 69-37 victory over Ursuline. She drained an AMC record eight three-pointers and scored 34 points in a 91-61 win versus Point Park, and finished her week with a team-high 15 points in a 73-65 decision over Cedarville.
For the week, Jastrzembski made 61.5 percent of her shots from the field overall and buried 11-of-18 treys for 61 percent. She converted 70 percent of her free throws and added 10 assists with six steals.

Amy Stefansic, Malone College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Malone College center Amy Stefansic (Ravenna, OH; Ravenna
H.S.) has been named the AMC women's basketball Player of the Week. The
5-foot-10 junior averaged 13.5 points and 15 rebounds while leading the NAIA
Division II No. 18 Pioneers to a pair of AMC victories.
Stefansic opened with just eight points in a 64-56 win over Saint Vincent, but pulled down 16 rebounds, including 15 on the defensive end. She then recorded a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds in an 89-70 victory against NAIA Division II No. 25 Rio Grande.
For the week, Stefansic shot 58.3 percent from the field and made 13-of-16 free throws for 81.3 percent. She added five assists and two blocked shots.

Kerri Andrews, Walsh University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Walsh University forward Kerri Andrews (Russellville, OH;
Eastern Brown H.S.) has been selected the AMC women's basketball Player of the
Week. The 5-foot-10 junior averaged 19 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while
leading the Cavaliers to a pair of AMC victories.
Andrews scored 23 points and hauled in ten rebounds in a 71-57 win over NAIA Division II No. 25 Ohio Dominican. She also had 15 points and seven rebounds in a 75-61 victory at Cedarville.
For the week, Andrews shot 69.6 percent from the field and made 6-of-10 three-point shots for 60 percent. She added six assists and four steals.

Mindy Pope, University of Rio Grande
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- University of Rio Grande center Mindy Pope (Gallipolis, OH;
Gallia Academy) is the AMC women's basketball Player of the Week. The six-foot
senior tallied 39 points and 23 rebounds in a pair of wins for the
Redwomen.
Pope had 16 points with nine rebounds in a 79-57 victory against Siena Heights. She followed that effort with 23 points and 14 boards in a 70-63 decision over Milligan.
For the week, Pope shot 50 percent from the field and made 11-of-14 free throws for 79 percent. She added two steals, one assist, and one blocked shot.

Kameico Robison, Seton Hill College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Seton Hill College forward Kameico Robison (Clairton, PA;
Clairton H.S.) is the AMC women's basketball Player of the Week.
Robison, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, erupted for 31 points and 22 rebounds in a 66-55 AMC victory at Notre Dame College. She made 10-of-13 shots from the field and 11-of-17 free throws. She added one assist, one block, and one steal in 34 minutes of action.
Robison, who last season was the AMC Freshman of the Year, leads the league in scoring (26.6 ppg), rebounding (14.7 rpg), and field goal percentage (.623). She is averaging 33.5 points through four AMC games.

Sheba Harris, Central State University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Central State University forward Sheba Harris (Cleveland,
OH; John F. Kennedy H.S.) has been named the AMC women's basketball Player of
the Week. The 5-foot-10 senior averaged 28 points and 7.5 rebounds in leading
the Lady Marauders to a 2-0 week.
Harris poured in 29 points with eight rebounds and four blocked shots in a 74-62 win at NCAA Division II Charleston. She also tallied 27 points and seven boards in a 94-79 victory at previously unbeaten Mount Vernon Nazarene.
For the week, Harris shot 53 percent from the field overall, 33 percent outside the three-point line, and 82 percent at the charity stripe. She added five assists, four blocks, and two steals.

Jennifer Hudak, Notre Dame College of Ohio
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Notre Dame College forward Jennifer Hudak (Independence,
OH; Holy Name H.S.) is the AMC Player of the Week in women's basketball. The
5-foot-9 senior helped the Blue Falcons extend their winning streak to four
straight by averaging 20 points in two more victories.
Hudak poured in 22 points with four assists in a 65-47 win over Ursuline. She followed that with 18 points, including the 1,000th of her career, to go along with four steals in a 89-45 victory against Hilbert.
For the week, Hudak shot 53 percent from the field and 80 percent at the charity stripe. She added nine rebounds, five assists, four steals, and two blocked shots.

LeAnn Mallernee, Mount Vernon Nazarene College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Mount Vernon Nazarene College center LeAnn Mallernee
(Sugarcreek, OH; Garaway H.S.) has been selected the AMC Player of the Week.
She averaged 28 points and 11.5 rebounds while leading the Cougars to a 2-0
week.
Mallernee, a 6-foot-2 senior, poured in a career-high 32 points with 11 rebounds in a 93-50 victory over Ursuline. She came back with 24 points and matched her career-high with 12 boards in a 84-76 win at NAIA Division II No. 10 Rio Grande.
For the week, Mallernee shot 67.6 percent from the field and 60 percent at the line. She added four steals, two assists, and two blocked shots.

Mandy Goin, Shawnee State University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Shawnee State University center Mandy Goin (Belpre, OH;
Warren H.S.) has been named the AMC Player of the Week in women's
basketball.
Goin, a 6-foot-1 freshman, averaged 24 points and 8.5 rebounds after leading the NAIA Division II No. 9 Bears to a pair of wins in their own Shawnee State Classic. She registered 29 points with 10 rebounds in a 85-77 non-conference win over Urbana and then had 19 points and seven boards during a 86-69 victory against Spring Arbor.
For the week, Goin made 69.6 percent of her shots from the field and converted 16-of-21 free throws for 76.2 percent. She added three blocked shots and an assist for the unbeaten Bears.

Jenni Davis, Mount Vernon Nazarene College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Mount Vernon Nazarene College guard Jenni Davis
(Cardington, OH; Cardington-Lincoln H.S.) is the first AMC Player of the Week
in women's basketball for the 2000-01 season.
Davis, a 5-foot-5 sophomore, averaged 18.7 points per game while leading MVNC to a 3-0 week. She had 16 points, four assists, and five steals in a 65-44 win over Kentucky Christian; a career-high 28 points with four steals in a 74-61 victory against Roberts Wesleyan; and 12 points in a 67-52 win versus Nyack.
Davis shot 45.2 percent from the field overall and 42.1 percent outside the three-point line. She drained 20-of-23 free throws for 87 percent and recorded 12 steals, nine assists, seven rebounds, and a blocked shot.
