CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Seton Hill sophomore Kameico Robison is the AMC women's basketball Player of the Year while Shawnee State's Robin Smith is the Coach of the Year for the 2000-01 season in voting by the league's coaches.

Robison, a 5-foot-10 forward from Clairton, PA, leads NAIA Division II nationally in scoring (27.0) and rebounding (14.5) plus she rates second in field goal percentage (.622). Smith, who coached Shawnee State to their sixth straight AMC regular season title, guided the Bears, 30-2 overall and 17-1 AMC, to a No. 1 ranking in the country. SSU rookie Mandy Goin, a 6-1 center from Belpre, OH, was named AMC Freshman of the Year.
