CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville University forward Kirsten Rossotti (West Caldwell, NJ; James Caldwell H.S.) has been voted the AMC Player of the Year by the league's coaches. The six-foot senior, who will return for her fourth year of athletic eligibility next season, returned to the hardwood after taking a year off from basketball to average 19.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Rossotti guided the Lady Jackets to a school-record 22 victories in the regular season and they advanced to the AMC Tournament semifinals.

Robin Smith repeated as AMC Coach of the Year after leading the Bears to their seventh straight conference regular season title. Shawnee State finished the regular season with an 11-game winning streak and ranked No. 8 in NAIA Division II.

Shawnee State's Heather Schilling (Columbus, OH; Westland H.S.) is the AMC Freshman of the Year. She averaged 19.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
