Cedarville defends AMC championship
RIO GRANDE, Ohio (11.3.2001) -- Cedarville, rated No. 2 in the NAIA, won the AMC women's cross country championship for the second straight year. The Lady Jackets had 33 points and was followed by NAIA No. 13 Malone with 43 points, and NAIA No. 21 Roberts Wesleyan with 94.

Cedarville junior Erin Nehus won the individual title by covering the 5,000 meters in 18:28. Elvin King of Cedarville was voted AMC Coach of the Year.
