AMC Tiebreakers
The American Mideast Conference basketball
tiebreakers are set by the coaches in the AMC Guidelines and approved by the
AMC Athletic Directors Council.
The tiebreakers involving two
teams for team selection and seeding for the AMC/NAIA Qualifying
Tournament are:
1. Head-to-head competition.
2. Record against teams in order of conference divisional finish.
3. Coin flip administered by the AMC Commissioner.
The tiebreakers involving three or more
teams for team selection and seeding for the AMC/NAIA Qualifying
Tournament are:
1. Head-to-head competition (best W-L percentage in games among the teams).
2. Record against teams in order of conference divisional finish.
3. Coin flip administered by the AMC Commissioner.

1. Teams split two division games.
2. Daemen 1-1 vs. Saint Vincent; Geneva 0-2 vs. Saint Vincent

Shawnee State-Rio Grande
1. Teams split two division games.
2. Shawnee State 1-1 vs. Cedarville; Rio Grande 0-2 vs. Cedarville
Shawnee State wins tiebreaker
Ohio Dominican-Malone-Tiffin
1. Ohio Dominican 1-1 vs. Malone and 2-0 vs. Tiffin = 3-1 overall
2. Malone 1-1 vs. Ohio Dominican and 1-1 vs. Tiffin = 2-2 overall
3. Tiffin 0-2 vs. Ohio Dominican and 1-1 vs. Malone = 1-3 overall
