Malone wins 10th straight AMC title
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (11.9.2002) - NAIA No. 7 Malone
rolled to their 10th consecutive American Mideast Conference men's cross
country championship. The Pioneers totalled 23 points while runner-up and NAIA
No. 25 Rio Grande had 76. Cedarville was 3rd in the 12-team event with 86
points.
Cedarville' senior Sergio Reyes toured the
8,000 meters in 24:58 to win the individual title by 33 seconds. Malone had six
runners among the top eight finishers.
