CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Houghton middle blocker Kirsten Nelson (Tokyo, Japan) and
Walsh setter Lindsey Wilt (Bucyrus, OH; Galion H.S.) have been named the AMC
Players of the Week in women's volleyball.
Nelson, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, earned Player of
the Week honors for the second straight time after leading Houghton to a 2-0
week. She averaged 5.83 kills per game with a .433 attack percentage. In six
games, Nelson added 15 digs, seven blocks, and a .955 serve percentage.
Wilt, a 5-6 junior, paced Walsh to a 4-0 week
with 13.31 assists per game. In 13 games played, she totalled 57 digs, 18
kills, and 12 service aces for the NAIA No. 16 Cavaliers.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Houghton middle blocker Kirsten Nelson (Tokyo, Japan) and
Mount Vernon Nazarene setter Katey Percival (Elyria, OH; Amherst Steele H.S.)
are the AMC Players of the Week in women's volleyball.
Nelson, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, paced Houghton
to a 3-0 week by recording 52 kills, 42 digs, and 15 blocks in 11 games. She
had a .308 attack percentage and also served eight aces in 52 attempts with
just one error. Nelson tallied 20 kills, 16 digs, and seven blocks versus Saint
Vincent; 15 kills and 17 digs against Geneva; and 17 kills with nine digs
against Seton Hill.
Percival, a 5-9 sophomore, averaged 10.22
assists while guiding MVNU to a 5-2 week and a runner-up showing at the NCCAA
Nationals despite being seeded No. 7 in the ten-team event. She added 45 digs,
15 kills, and committed just two errors out of 117 serves while being named to
the NCCAA All-Tournament Team. Percival had 39 assists in the Cougars' top
victory of the week at NAIA No. 21 Indiana Wesleyan, who hosted the NCCAA
Nationals.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville teammates Paula Thompson (Solon, OH; Solon H.S.)
and Carrie Hartman (Fort Wayne, IN; Snider H.S.) have been selected the AMC
Players of the Week in women's volleyball. They guided the Yellow Jackets to a
perfect week with four South Division wins.
Thompson, a 5-foot-9 sophomore middle hitter,
averaged 4.81 kills per game with a .444 attack percentage. She buried a
career-high 25 kills versus Rio Grande and posted 24 in CU's first-ever win at
Mount Vernon Nazarene. Thompson previously had a pair of 14-kill efforts in
wins over Tiffin and Urbana. For the week, she added 44 digs, 11 blocks, and
five service aces.
Hartman, a 5-7 junior setter, averaged 13.38
assists and 2.75 digs per game. She recorded a .944 serve percentage with three
aces, 21 kills, and five blocks. Hartman tallied 40 or more assists in all four
matches including 68 versus Rio Grande and 59 against Mount Vernon Nazarene.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Malone outside hitter Brandie Beebe (Wintersville, OH;
Indian Creek H.S.) and Walsh setter Lindsey Wilt (Bucyrus, OH; Galion H.S.)
have been selected the AMC volleyball Players of the Week.
Beebe, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, averaged 5.64
kills with a .343 attack percentage during Malone's 2-1 week. Her top efforts
included 24 kills and 10 digs in a win over Ohio Dominican and 22 kills with 25
digs during a victory against Geneva. In 11 games for the week, she added 51
digs and six service aces.
Wilt, a 5-6 junior, earned the setter honor for
the fourth time this fall after averaging 14.56 assists per game after leading
NAIA No. 11 Walsh to three South Division wins. She posted a .524 assist
percentage, served up six aces out of 63 attempts with no errors, and totalled
36 digs. Wilt also added 13 kills with a .407 attack percentage.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Walsh teammates Lauren Collins (Brunswick, OH; Brunswick
H.S.) and Lindsey Wilt (Bucyrus, OH; Galion H.S.) are the AMC Players of the
Week for women's volleyball. The duo paced the NAIA No. 11 Cavaliers to three
more wins.
Collins, a 5-foot-11 sophomore outside hitter,
averaged 5.67 kills per game with a .417 attack percentage. Her biggest output
was 21 kills in a three-game sweep over Houghton. She also produced 17 kills
and 15 digs in a win versus Trinity Christian. Collins averaged 3.33 digs per
game and served eight aces for the week.
Wilt, a 5-6 junior setter, racked up 14.44
assists per game in the three wins. She was good on 60-of-61 serves for a .984
accuracy with nine aces. Wilt also added 22 digs.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Malone teammates Brandie Beebe (Wintersville, OH; Indian
Creek H.S.) and Beth Ianniello (Fresno, OH; Ridgewood H.S.) are the AMC Players
of the Week in women's volleyball. The pair led the Pioneers to three South
Division victories.
Beebe, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, earned Player of
the Week honors after averaging 4.82 kills and 4.82 digs per game. She tallied
18 kills and eight digs in a three-game sweep of Rio Grande; totalled 17 kills
and 15 digs in a win versus Shawnee State; and buried 18 kills with 30 digs
during a victory over Urbana. Beebe posted a .250 attack percentage, served
seven aces, and added five blocks.
Ianniello, a 5-6 sophomore, was tabbed Setter
of the Week while averaging 12.55 assists and 3.64 digs per game. She racked up
43, 36, and 59 assists, respectively, in the three wins to go along with four
service aces.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Houghton middle blocker Kirsten Nelson (Tokyo, Japan) and
Walsh setter Lindsey Wilt (Bucyrus, OH; Galion H.S.) have been named the AMC
Players of the Week in women's volleyball.
Nelson, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, averaged 4.18
kills and 1.91 blocks in leading Houghton to three AMC North Division victories
on the road. She had 13 kills, 10 blocks, and 10 digs in a four-game win at
Roberts Wesleyan; 20 kills and 11 digs in a four-game decision at Carlow; and
13 kills with 12 digs and six blocks in a sweep over Notre Dame. Nelson posted
a .382 attack percentage and served up three aces with a .922 accuracy.
Wilt, a 5-6 junior, provided 12.44 assists per
game to lead unbeaten and NAIA No. 10 Walsh to a trio of AMC South Division
three-game sweeps on the road. She had 37 assists at Cedarville, 33 versus
Urbana, and 42 more at Rio Grande. Wilt added 21 digs, 12 kills, and four
service aces. She committed just one serving error in 32 attempts.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Malone outside hitter Brandie Beebe (Wintersville, OH;
Indian Creek H.S.) and Roberts Wesleyan setter Meghan McDaniel (Jackson, MI;
Western H.S.) have been named the AMC Players of the Week. McDaniel was also
tabbed the NAIA National Setter of the Week.
Beebe, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, averaged 4.63
kills with a .356 attack percentage in Malone's 4-1 week. She served up 17 aces
in 16 games and totalled 69 digs. Beebe was named to the Lee Invitational
all-tournament team.
McDaniel, a 5-6 senior, was named MVP of the
St. Rose Tournament after leading Roberts Wesleyan to four victories. She
averaged 13.43 assists and 3.79 digs per game. McDaniel posted a .956 serve
percentage with six aces to go along with 21 kills.

H.S.) and Lindsey Wilt (Bucyrus, OH; Galion H.S.) have been selected the AMC
Players of the Week in women's volleyball. They guided the NAIA No. 10 ranked
Cavaliers to a 5-0 week and the Saint Xavier IL Invitational title.
Collins, a 5-foot-11 sophomore outside hitter,
was named the AMC Player of the Week after averaging 4.0 kills with a .321
attack percentage. She pounded 19 kills in a win over Hastings NE and added 12
in a sweep of NAIA No. 19 Olivet Nazarene. Collins had 14 aces and 64 digs for
the week to go along with a .951 pass percentage in 82 attempts.
Wilt, a 5-6 junior, is the AMC Setter of the
Week upon supplying 12.69 assists per game. She had 51 assists versus Hastings
and 41 in an AMC North Division win against Tiffin. Wilt served up eight aces
and tallied 54 digs.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Urbana outside hitter Anne Kaiser (St. Henry, OH; St. Henry
H.S.) and Mount Vernon Nazarene setter Katey Percival (Elyria, OH; Amherst
Steele H.S.) are the AMC Players of the Week in women's volleyball.
Kaiser, a 5-foot-8 sophomore, averaged 4.31
kills per game in leading Urbana to a 3-1 week at the Saint Vincent Tournament.
She posted a .284 attack percentage and added 47 digs. Kaiser had 13 or more
kills in all four matches which included two 20-plus efforts. She served up six
aces and handled 15 passes without an error.
Percival, a 5-9 sophomore, paced Mount Vernon
Nazarene to a 4-0 week by averaging 10.90 assists per game. She had a .971
serve percentage with eight aces and 18 digs.
