CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Mount Vernon Nazarene forward Kristen Votapek (Amelia, OH;
Amelia H.S.) and Tiffin defender Anna Andersson (Malmo, Sweden) have been
selected the AMC women's soccer Players of the Week.
Votapek, a 5-foot-1 freshman, earned Offensive
Player honors for the second straight time with three goals and an assist in
MVNU's 1-0-1 week. She had a goal in a 2-2 tie at Urbana and then tallied two
goals and an assist in a 4-2 win versus Walsh. Votapek has tied the
single-season school record with 20 goals and set a new mark for most points
scored with 48.
Andersson, a 5-10 senior, sparked a Tiffin
defense which did not allow a goal while she was on the field. She paced the
Dragons to a 1-0 win at Geneva and a 4-1 victory against Seton Hill.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Mount Vernon Nazarene teammates Kristen Votapek (Amelia, OH;
Amelia H.S.) and Cheryl Balogh (Lima, OH; Elida H.S.) are the AMC women's
soccer Players of the Week. The tandem paced the Cougars to victories over two
of the top teams in the South Division.
Votapek, a 5-foot-1 freshman forward, scored
twice in a 3-0 win over Ohio Dominican. She then netted the winning goal in the
86th minute of a 2-1 victory at Tiffin, who was previously unbeaten in the
division. Votapek has 17 goals this season and has scored at least one goal in
13 of MVNU's 17 matches.
Balogh, a 5-10 junior defender, keyed a Cougar
defense that shut down the NAIA Region IX No. 2 and No. 4 rated teams. She was
credited with a defender save to preserve a 2-1 win at Tiffin.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Malone forward Sara Dauterman (Canal Fulton, OH; Heritage
Christian H.S.) and Houghton goalkeeper Rebecca Fuller (Houghton, NY; Fillmore
H.S.) have selected the AMC Players of the Week in women's soccer.
Dauterman led Malone to a pair of wins with
five goals and an assist. The junior netted a goal with an assist in a 3-0
South Division win versus Mount Vernon Nazarene. She then erupted for four
goals in a 7-0 victory against Asbury.
Fuller, a junior netminder, posted a pair of
complete shutouts and shared another during Houghton's 3-0 week. She played 82
minutes and made one save in a 6-0 North Division win over Roberts Wesleyan.
She then stopped three shots in a 3-0 victory at Trinity International and was
credited with seven saves in a 1-0 win at Saint Xavier.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Tiffin teammates Sarah Fieler (Cincinnati, OH; Roger Bacon
H.S.) and Anna Andersson (Malmo, Sweden) have been named the AMC Players of the
Week in women's soccer. They guided the Dragons to a pair of South Division
wins.
Fieler, a 5-foot-9 senior forward, scored one
goal and assisted on another in a 2-0 win at defending AMC champion Malone. She
also scored twice and added two assists in a 6-1 victory against Shawnee State.
Andersson, a 5-10 senior defender, keyed
Tiffin's shutout at Malone and then helped the Dragons take over sole
possession of first place in the South Division with a win versus Shawnee
State.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Seton Hill forward Jen Peddicord (Sutersville, PA; Yough
H.S.) and Mount Vernon Nazarene goalkeeper Kristi Tuck (Hollsopple, PA;
Johnstown Christian H.S.) have been selected the AMC Players of the Week.
Peddicord, a 5-foot-7 senior, scored five goals
during Seton Hill's 2-1 week. She netted both goals in a 2-1 AMC North Division
win over Carlow; scored both goals again in a 2-1 defeat of divisional foe
Daemen; and then scored once in a 3-2 setback to NCAA Division II Edinboro.
Tuck, a 5-9 junior, stopped three shots in a
2-0 South Division victory against Cedarville. It was her second straight AMC
shutout.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Malone forward Julie Herbst (Dyer, IN; Lake Central H.S.)
and Saint Vincent goalkeeper Andrea Taylor (McMurray, PA; Peters Township H.S.)
are the AMC women's soccer Players of the Week.
Herbst, a freshman, who was awarded the
offensive honor for the second time this fall, tallied five goals and three
assists during the Pioneers' 2-1 week. She exploded for three goals and three
assists in a 6-2 win at Carlow; scored one goal in a 2-1 win at Palm Beach
Atlantic; and netted another goal in a 4-2 setback at NCAA Division II Nova
Southeastern.
Taylor, a junior netminder, stopped all 16
shots she faced in posting two shutouts as Saint Vincent went 1-0-1. She made
12 saves in a scoreless tie versus NCAA Division II Clarion and made four saves
in a 2-0 AMC North Division win over Daemen. Taylor has strung together three
consecutive shutouts.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Carlow forward Stephanie Schneider (Brackenridge, PA; Laurel
Highlands H.S.) and Malone goalkeeper Laurie Franklin (Prospect, KY; South
Oldham H.S.) have been selected AMC Players of the Week in women's soccer.
Schneider scored three goals in a 10-0 win over
Chatham and then recorded her third straight "hat trick" with three
more scores in a 4-3 AMC North Division win at Notre Dame. The junior has 10
goals on the season.
Franklin, a sophomore, made four saves in a
12-0 victory against Shepherd. She was credited with 15 saves in a 2-0 AMC
South Division win versus Cedarville.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Geneva forward Rebecca Stewart (Silver Springs, MD; Paint
Branch H.S.) and Urbana goalkeeper Jodie Snyder (Fort Jennings, OH; Fort
Jennings H.S.) are the AMC women's soccer Players of the Week. Stewart also
earned NAIA National Player of the Week honors.
Stewart, a 5-foot-6 freshman, exploded for nine
goals and five assists during Geneva's 3-0 week. She netted three goals with
two assists in a 6-1 win versus Bethany; racked up four goals and three assists
in a 17-0 victory against Mount Aloysius; and scored two more goals in a 9-0
win over Ohio Valley. Stewart has 13 goals in six matches this season.
Snyder, a 5-9 sophomore, led Urbana to a 2-0-1
week by allowing just one goal in 256 minutes of action. She made nine saves in
a 0-0 tie with Indiana Tech; stopped three shots in a 3-0 win versus
Manchester; and had two saves in a 3-1 victory against Anderson.

and Mount Vernon Nazarene goalkeeper Kristi Tuck (Hollsopple, PA; Johnstown
Christian H.S.) have been selected the AMC Players of the Week.
Herbst scored two goals as Malone played a pair
of NAIA nationally ranked teams to 1-1 ties. The freshman netted the lone tally
against No. 22 Indiana Wesleyan and then did the same versus No. 14 Houghton.
Tuck, a 5-foot-9 junior, posted back-to-back
shutouts as MVNU is off to their best-ever start at 4-0. She made eight saves
in a 2-0 win versus Otterbein and then stopped five shots in a 1-0 victory at
Cornerstone.
