MEET INFORMATION

Entry Procedures:  Maximum of four (4) entries per event per team, one (1) relay. Must enter and official mark from a meet or enter NM. Hand times not accepted in races under 400 meters. www.hy-tekltd.com (go to Download Center, T&F Demos or TM Lite).

Performance List: Will be posted on the Thursday before the meet by 5pm barring computer problems.

Teams: Cedarville, Geneva, Houghton, Malone, Notre Dame, Rio Grande, Roberts Wesleyan, Saint Vincent, Tiffin, Walsh.

Entry Deadline: Noon (Eastern time) on Wed. April 20.

Scratches: If you scratch an athlete from any event after you send in your entries they will be scratched from the entire meet. By email or phone by Friday 8am.

Meetings: Friday, 3:00 p.m., Varsity Room (2nd floor) of Callan Athletic Center or at track depending on weather.

Timing: Automatic timing will be used.

Implement Weigh-in: Must be turned in 90 minutes before start of your event (in upper shed next to Hammer Cage).

Athletic Trainer: Will be on site.

Spikes: 1/4 pyramid only 3/8 with recessed spikes, strictly enforced on all rubber surfaces.

Field Events: 3 attempts – 9 to finals.

Time schedule: Set – will not go ahead.

Starting Heights: M-HJ 5-8, W-HJ 4-6, W-PV 7-0, M-PV 10-6, 6-inch increments for PV, 2-inch for HJ.

Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

Results: Posted near finish line as ready during meet, ASAP after meet in Press Box & at www.amcsports.org. There will also be LIVE RESULTS posted during the meet.

Awards: Trophies to winning teams. Plaques will be mailed to Men's and Women's Outstanding Performers of the Meet as well as Men's and Women's Coaches of the Year.. Medals for event winners $20.00 per team ($40.00 for M & W) Brief awards ceremony at end of meet.

Thorguard: Lightning Detection System - If it goes off during the meet we must take shelter until it gives us the "all clear signal." It will probably be at least 30 minutes.

Warm-Up: During races run in lanes only those participating in the race may be on the track. (back stretch will be open during short sprints) Athletes who interfere with another runner can be scratched from the meet or have their teammates disqualified from the event.

Facilities:

  • Eight-lane all-weather granular polyurethane surface (48-inch lanes).
  • Automatic timing will be used.
  • Steeplechase pit located inside of track.
  • Two shot put rings inside stadium.
  • Two long/triple jumps pits with minimum 125-foot runways and 9 x 20 landing area.
  • Discus cage inside stadium (NCAA legal).
  • Hammer cage next to stadium (NCAA legal).
  • Javelin runway next to stadium - same surface as track 13 x 120 ft. (1/4 pyramid only, 3/8 with recessed spikes).
  • Large apron for high jump - 174 x 115 ft.
  • Three long jump/triple jump pits - 10 x 24 ft. landing area with runways at a minimum of 160 feet.
  • Five pole vault plant boxes (to vault any direction); shortest runway is 130 feet.
  • Lighted stadium.
  • Press box.
  • Permanent restroom facilities.
  • Bleacher seating for approximately 2,500 fans.
