(Fort Recovery, OH; Coldwater H.S.) and Shawnee State University pitcher
Jackie Hawk (Lucasville, OH; Valley H.S.) have been named the AMC women's
softball Players of the Week. Both players were also selected the NAIA
Great Lakes Region Players of the Week.
Timmerman hit .586 in leading ODC to a 6-2 week and a runner-up showing at the AMC Tournament. The freshman recorded 17 hits in 29 at bats with a double, two triples, and nine runs scored. She set season school records for highest batting average (.455) and most hits (75). The Panthers finished the campaign 40-19 overall.
Hawk, a senior righthander, beat Ohio Dominican twice to pace Shawnee State to the AMC Tournament championship. She struck out five batters during a 4-3 win in their first game, and then tossed a one-hitter with five more strikeouts in a 6-0 decision in the title game. Hawk did not walk a batter in 14 innings pitched for the Bears, 34-10 overall.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Ohio Dominican College first baseman Kim Pacer
(Westerville, OH; North H.S.) and Tiffin University pitcher Emily Renaud
(Pickering, Ontario) are the AMC women's softball Players of the Week.
Pacer was named NAIA National Player of the Week and both players were
also tabbed NAIA Great Lakes Region Players of the Week.
Pacer, a 5-foot-6 junior, batted .643 while leading Ohio Dominican to a 4-0 week. She had nine hits in 14 at bats with two doubles, five triples, six runs scored, and 11 RBI's. She set school records for most hits (64) and triples (14) in a season. ODC is 34-17 overall and 15-5 AMC.
Renaud, a 5-foot-6 sophomore righthander, tossed back-to-back two-hit shutouts over Notre Dame and Saint Vincent. She struck out ten batters and walked one for Tiffin which completed the season 20-22 overall and 10-12 AMC.

(Lima, OH; Bath H.S.) and Shawnee State University pitcher Jackie Hawk
(Lucasville, OH; Valley H.S.) have been named AMC women's softball Players
of the Week.
Mitchell batted .600 with three doubles, two triples, a home run, and eight RBI's during Urbana's 8-2 week. The 5-foot-8 junior recorded 21 hits in 35 at bats and 19 runs scored. She hit safely in nine games with seven multi-hit games including a 5-for-5 effort at Mount Vernon Nazarene. The Blue Knights are 20-14 overall and 13-5 AMC.
Hawk, a senior righthander, was credited with the victory in every game of Shawnee State's 5-0 week and posted a 0.74 ERA. In 28 1/3 innings pitched, she allowed three earned runs on 12 hits with 14 strikeouts and three walks. Hawk hurled four complete games, two of which were shutouts including a five-inning perfect game at Cedarville. Shawnee State is 25-8 overall and 12-2 AMC.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Geneva College sophomore Erica Exler (Cheswick,
PA; Springdale H.S.) and Walsh University junior Amy Lehmer (Norton, OH;
Norton H.S.) are the AMC women's softball Players of the Week.
Exler, a pitcher/first baseman, batted .700 in four games for Geneva, 19-11 overall and 8-6 AMC. She recorded seven hits in 10 at bats with four triples, a double, three runs batted in, and three runs scored. Exler, who was the AMC Pitcher of the Week last week, walked four times and posted a 1.600 slugging percentage.
Lehmer did not allow an earned run during a 3-0 week on the mound for league-leading Walsh, 28-8 overall and 13-1 AMC. The righthander's performance included a pair of shutouts -- a two-hit 2-0 win against Malone and a three-hitter in a 15-0 rout at Rio Grande. For the week, Lehmer allowed five unearned runs on 12 hits in 18 innings with 10 strikeouts and four walks.

pitcher Erica Exler (Cheswick, PA; Springdale H.S.) have been named the
AMC women's softball Players of the Week. Exler was also tabbed NAIA Great
Lakes Region Pitcher of the Week.
Pickelsimer, who is a junior, batted .667 during SSU's 4-0 week. She recorded two hits in each game totalling eight hits in 12 at bats with two doubles, seven runs scored, and four RBI's. The Bears are 14-6 overall and 6-2 AMC.
Exler, a freshman righthander, did not allow an earned run while going 3-0 with one save. Her week included complete-game shutouts over AMC foes Tiffin and Rio Grande. In 21 innings pitched, Exler allowed one unearned run on 13 hits with 20 strikeouts and one walk. Geneva, 17-9 overall and 6-4 AMC, has won six straight games and has already set a record for most victories in a season.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Urbana University infielder Kiya Starr (Lima, OH;
Shawnee H.S.) and Tiffin University pitcher Emily Renaud (Pickering,
Ontario) have been named the AMC softball Players of the Week.
Starr, a 5-foot-7 senior, batted .579 in guiding Urbana to an 8-0 week including six AMC victories. She recorded 11 hits in 19 at bats with 11 runs scored, a double, triple, and four runs batted in. Starr hit safely in all eight games and also stole four bases. The Blue Knights are 11-9 overall and 6-2 AMC.
Renaud, a 5-foot-6 righthander, hurled two complete game victories during Tiffin's 4-0 week. She went the distance in a 10-5 AMC win over Rio Grande and then tossed a three-hitter in a 7-0 victory against Defiance. For the week, Renaud pitched 14 innings and allowed three earned runs on 13 hits with eight strikeouts and two walks. Tiffin is 12-12 overall and 2-2 AMC.

(Tallmadge, OH; Tallmadge H.S.) are the AMC softball Players of the Week.
Peterson was also tabbed the NAIA Great Lakes Region Pitcher of the Week.
Green batted .571 in leading Walsh to a 3-2 week including a sweep of AMC foe Urbana. The sophomore hit safely in all five contests including three two-hit games. She had eight hits in 14 at bats with four doubles, four runs scored, and four RBI's. The only losses for the Cavs, 17-3 overall and 2-0 AMC, came against NCAA ranked teams.
Peterson, a sophomore righthander, won all four games during Malone's 4-0 week with a 0.84 earned run average. In 25 innings, she allowed three earned runs on 16 hits with 27 strikeouts and just two walks. She hurled back-to-back shutouts against AMC opponent Saint Vincent and now has four shutouts on the season. The Pioneers are 15-6 overall and 3-1 AMC.
