CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Tiffin University defender Scott France (Maumee,
OH) is the AMC men's soccer Player of the Week. The 5-foot-10 senior
scored three goals in two victories to lead the Dragons to the NAIA Region
IX championship match.
France netted one goal in a 2-1 win over Walsh. He then scored twice more as TU rallied for a 3-1 victory at Houghton. Tiffin is 19-2-1 overall.

Robert Ngumire, Tiffin University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Tiffin University forward Robert Ngumire
(Kampala, Uganda) has been selected the AMC men's soccer Player of the
Week. The 5-foot-10 freshman, who was also named the NAIA Region IX Player
of the Week, helped the Dragons clinch their 11th conference title and
their first in four years with a 3-0 week.
Ngumire had a goal in an 8-1 romp at Saint Vincent. He netted the lone score with four minutes remaining of a 1-0 decision against Ohio Dominican. He then scored one goal and assisted on the other in a 2-0 victory at Wooster. Tiffin is 17-2-1 overall and 11-0 AMC.

Chris Huff, Malone College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Malone College forward Chris Huff (Jackson, OH;
Jackson H.S.) is the AMC men's soccer Player of the Week. The 6-foot-1
senior scored all six Pioneer goals in a pair of AMC road victories and
was also tabbed NAIA National and NAIA Region IX Player of the Week.
Huff opened his week with four goals in a 4-3 victory at Geneva. He followed that by finding the net twice in a 2-0 win at Urbana. Malone begins the week 6-10-1 overall and 5-4 AMC.

Pat McBrearty, Walsh University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Walsh University forward Pat McBrearty (Canton,
OH; Glen Oak H.S.) has been selected the AMC men's soccer Player of the
Week. The 5-foot-8 senior also earned NAIA Region IX Player of the Week
honors as he recorded five goals and an assist in two victories for the
Cavaliers, 9-5-1 overall and 7-3 AMC.
McBrearty tallied two goals and one assist in a 4-0 victory against Mount Vernon Nazarene. He got the "hat trick" with three goals in a 5-2 win at Urbana.

Matt Ogden, University of Rio Grande
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- University of Rio Grande forward Matt Ogden
(Preston, England) is the AMC men's soccer Player of the Week. The senior
was also tabbed the NAIA Region IX Player of the Week after playing a part
in every Redmen goal during a 1-0-1 showing.
Ogden scored the only goal in a 1-1 tie at Mount Vernon Nazarene in a match featuring AMC foes who are receiving consideration in the NAIA national rankings. He then scored three times and recorded an assist in a 4-0 victory at Geneva. Rio is 8-4-1 overall and 7-0-1 AMC.

Josh Robson, Mount Vernon Nazarene College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Mount Vernon Nazarene College forward Josh Robson
(Mansfield, OH; Madison H.S.) has been selected men's soccer Player of the
Week by the American Mideast Conference. The six-foot junior was also
named NAIA National and Region IX Player of the Week after tallying six
goals and two assists to lead the Cougars to a pair of AMC victories.
Robson scored all four goals in a 4-1 victory at Cedarville. He came back with two goals and two assists in a 7-2 romp past Point Park. Robson holds MVNC's career records for both goals scored (50) and points (121). The Cougars are 10-2 overall and 3-1 AMC.

Ali Lukungu, Tiffin University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Tiffin University midfielder Ali Lukungu
(Kampala, Uganda) has been tabbed the men's soccer Player of the Week in
the American Mideast Conference. The 5-foot-9 freshman, who also earned
NAIA Region IX Player of the Week honors, recorded three goals and three
assists in leading the Dragons to a pair of league victories.
Lukungu had two goals and one assist in a 4-1 victory at No. 26 ranked Mount Vernon Nazarene. He followed that with a goal and two assists during a 6-1 romp past Walsh. TU begins the week 6-2-1 overall and 2-0 AMC.

Josh Abebe, Geneva College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Geneva College midfielder Josh Abebe (Wexford,
PA; North Allegheny H.S.) is the AMC men's soccer Player of the Week. He
was also selected the NAIA Region IX Player of the Week after tallying six
goals and four assists for 16 points in three matches.
Abebe, a 5-foot-11 senior, netted the lone goal in a 2-1 setback to Westminster; scored once with a career-high four assists in a 6-1 rout of LaRoche; and then notched a career-high four goals in a 9-0 romp past Urbana. Geneva improved to 3-4 overall and 1-0 AMC.

Rick Collins, Mount Vernon Nazarene College
CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Mount Vernon Nazarene College midfielder Rick
Collins (Pataskala, OH; Watkins Memorial H.S.) has been named the AMC
men's soccer Player of the Week. He was selected the MVP of the Cougars'
own invitational after helping MVNC to a pair of shutout wins.
Collins, a 5-foot-8 junior, netted the first two goals of the match and later added one assist in a 9-0 victory over Huntington. He also scored the first goal of the championship game, a 4-0 decision against Trinity Christian, to go along with one assist. It was the fourth time MVNC, 5-1 overall, has won their tournament in 13 tries.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Mount Vernon Nazarene's Josh Robson (Mansfield,
OH; Madison H.S.) has been selected the AMC men's soccer Player of the
Week. He was also tabbed NAIA Region IX Player of the Week upon scoring
two goals to help the Cougars, 3-1-0 overall, to a pair of victories.
Robson, a junior forward, scored once in a 4-1 win at Concordia CA. He also headed in the game winner in the 78th minute of a 2-1 come-from-behind victory against Wooster. Robson ranks second on MVNC's career scoring list with 37 goals.
